Unable to connect to ee mini wifi on my laptap

I have an EE mini wifi box and use it without problem on my Acer laptop. I have recently purchased a new Akra laptop with virtually the same spec as my Acer and using Windows10 Home. When I try to connect to the internet the EE wifi shows up but then I get a message saying "unable to connect to this network". Any help to get connected would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the community.

Could you try restarting both the WiFi box and your laptop?

Does the laptop connect to other WiFi devices or home broadband?

Hi Jon,
Thank you for getting in touch.

The laptop connects to my home broadband ok and to a service on a caravan park I've just visited.
The EE box works perfectly with another lap top I have.

Any help you can give is greatly appreciated.

Do you know if both the laptop and WiFi device are both on the latest firmware version?
