I have upgraded my contract and rather than get broadband at home I got a 2nd sim card and a 4g EE wifi mini as 4g is pretty good where I live (rural) However when I go to use my new phone - I phone se 2020 on the wifi box which I presumed would be the same speed as the 4g on the phone it is too slow to work. It takes ages to load simple things. I can’t do a i phone back up as it gives up saying its a poor connection

Not sure what the issue is? The box is in a good signal part of the house.

Hi @Kate35,

Welcome to the community 🙂

Is it only your mobile phone that your finding slow when connecting to the WiFi?

Are other devices connected and working at good speed?

The WiFi Mini speeds and connection will work depending on the coverage in your area. It will also depend on how many devices you have connected at one time.

Alex 🙂
