Network keeps dropping with DHCP device Disconnected message.

Hi,

My network keeps dropping. I checked the router logs and saw the following pattern in the logs for the drops:

6:46:19, 21 Dec. 2.4G Client associate from <MAC redacted> (IP=192.168.1.206) RSSI=-69, Rate=26Mbps, host <Laptop Name>
16:46:19, 21 Dec. Lan IPv6 Neighbour Discovery events: NEIGHBOR_SOLICIT
16:46:19, 21 Dec. Receive a DHCP request
16:46:19, 21 Dec. 2.4G Client disassociate from <MAC redacted> (IP=192.168.1.206) RSSI=0, Rate=0Mbps
16:41:07, 21 Dec. DHCP device Connected: 192.168.1.206, <MAC redacted>, <Laptop Name>
16:41:07, 21 Dec. 2.4G Client associate from <MAC redacted> (IP=192.168.1.206) RSSI=-68, Rate=0Mbps, host <Laptop Name>

Any clues as to what's happening here?

What is the wireless client on IP=192.168.1.206?

Hi @stealtfydodo ,

If that's a Windows 10 laptop, I would recommend to try setting a static IP address to see if it helps.

I've had something similar recently with a Microsoft Surface Go not connecting properly by wired RJ45 after some recent updates. A static IP seems pretty stable today even though the fix wasn't working last night.

Your client appears to be a 2.4 GHz WiFi client so perhaps try wired if that's possible.
