No, the DSL connection between phone socket & router can only be a wired connection.

Hi. My master socket is in the hallway. I have recently had my hallway decorated and was hoping to avoid wires trailing from the master socket to the router and most definitely trying to avoid having to use trunking to hide them,

Other than having a new socket put into another room, are there any "contraptions" available on the market, that will allow me to plug it into the master socket and then create a wirelessly connects to the router. I know I am possibly asking the impossible but the wires hanging down from the shelf drive me insane !

Thank you in advance

You can use main power adapters for the LAN side of the router, but not the telephone side.

You could enter "Cable Tidy ideas" into you favourite search engine and see if anything inspires you. Using cable clips will help keep the cables out of the way.

You could try putting the router in the hallway and use a nearby power socket and Powerline Adapters to get the LAN signal to your devices.
