How to change cable line from DSL to fibre?

I am moving address and the new flat has DSL cable lines and cant cater fibre. Is there any way I can pay for the installation of fibre cable? How can I go about doing this?

In addition to the above good advice, you may wish to do a check of your postcode at the below URL to see whether any reseller is willing to provide FTTP in your postcode.

Although the infrastructure is ultimately provided by OpenReach, it has been seen on these forums some service providers may be more or less proactive in getting customers onto FTTP. Potentially you may only be interested in FTTC but that can be checked in the same way.

If FTTP is not available there you can't just get OR to install it unless they are already planning it.

What does BT Wholesale Broadband Availability Checker's Address Checker estimate for your new address? Post just the whole table and the line above it, blanking out your address.

Perhaps an altnet is in your area already.
