topic EE Smart Hub - Google Nest compatibility? in Archived Posts

Hi, I have recently got a new smart hub with EE. The coverage in the house is pretty poor in some of the further away rooms. I would like to try a mesh network solution, specifically the Google Nest WiFi.

Is the EE smart hub compatible with the Google Nest WiFi? I have read conflicting forums posts. The main issue seems to be that the smart hub cannot be put into modem or bridge mode.

Welcome to the community.

I'm not sure myself, but hopefully either one f our broadband experts or someone who's tried this before will be along soon to offer up advice and experience.

I don't know much about the Google Nest, but you cannot put an EE router into bridge or modem mode.
