I have Smart Hub, and can see on my router menu unknown devices using my wifi but not an option to block/ban them, how can I block their IPs/MACs?

ie a printer, DVD player, TVs, lights, anything really. I very much doubt that these devices are from anyone you don’t know or are actually not your own devices.

I have tried changing the password few times, swichting all my devices off and 4 devices keep connecting on the next day, 2 unknown and 2 Samsung, and nothing in my house is Samsung.

When i was with Sky, the router had an option to block MACs but cannot find it on this EE Smart router.

Hi @dannydecai81 ,

In addition to the above good advice, I recommend to look up the manufacturer associated to the unknown MACs to better understand what is going on. https://macvendors.com/

Would it be ok to provide the non-Samsung MACs?

It's also worth double checking WPA authentication is disabled and you use WPA2 or higher. Also double check for an open guest network.

What are the 1st 6 digits of each of the MAC's of the devices you don't recognise? These devices could well be those of temporary visitors to your home that the router has remembered.

There is no MAC filtering/blocking on the EE Smart Router.

@mikeliuk : The EE Smart Router does not support guest networks.
