      <title>EE Fibre Max 100 User experiences?</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Before leaving BT Fibre 2 for EE Fibre Max 100 Broadband, I have a couple of questions for current users, please:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;1. Are current users happy with the EE Broadband service in terms of expected speeds, reliability and particularly the WiFi range? With BT I have always achieved great WiFi speeds without any range extenders throughout my town house thanks, I believe, to their Smart Hub Router. For example, 70mbps downstairs and 55mbps on the top floor. A good, effective router makes all the difference.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2. Cooling off period. What is the current state of play regarding cancellation should things not be as promised? Worryingly, a post a read dated 2020 was from someone whose EE broadband took a turn for the worse the day his cooling off period ended.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Thanks for clarifying the cooling off situation, Leanne.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Although I am aware of speeds quoted for Fibre Max 100, promises and reality can sometimes be quite different. That’s why I am interested in actual user experiences which will hopefully mirror what EE promises.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Every&amp;nbsp;&lt;SPAN&gt;actual user experience will be diff. The aggregate of all the users may very well&amp;nbsp;mirror what EE promises.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;As I think&amp;nbsp;&lt;a href="https://community.ee.co.uk/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/1029772"&gt;@pip11&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;told you elsewhere EE &amp;amp; BT use the same infrastructure&amp;nbsp;&amp;amp; so the speeds should be much the same.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

A lot of the time, these ideas of poorer service across the hedge with another company are caused by various things. I myself left Sky recently and moved across to EE for broadband. This was a seamless process, and the WiFi router supplied wipes the floor with Sky's Q Hub. So, no more complaints from the household there. It also has the 4 ethernet ports on the back, rather than 2 so more devices can be wired up rather than relying on WiFi. Overall, the equipment provided by EE is the same as BT. The main benefit for a lot of customers would be that if you are an existing EE mobile customer, the broadband side of things gets slightly discounted by a few quid.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It pays to do your research, another reason I chose EE is that they offer speeds up to 900Mbps where it is available, which it now is in my area. However, staying with Sky I would have only been offered 145Mbps ! Bit of a no brainer for a heavy usage household like ours. Hope this helps&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Thanks for your Encouraging comments&amp;nbsp;&lt;a href="https://community.ee.co.uk/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/31420"&gt;@Spitfire400&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;. Interestingly I also gave Sky a go about 3 years ago but the download speeds were a disappointing 45mbps (compared with 62mbps with my previous BT deal) and most striking was how poor the WiFi range was. Down almost exclusively to the inferior router supplied by Sky. I quit before the end of the 30 day cool off. Lesson learned and reinforced the importance of a quality router.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;As an EE mobile customer their package is better than BT loyalty team can offer so it seems a no brainer.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
