FTTP isn't Fibre to the Pole but Fibre to the Premises. It needs a further box installed on the outside wall of the house & a hole channelled thro' the wall to an ONT inside which acts as the modem for FTTP. Your ISP will install all that as part of providing FTTP BB.

If FTTP is available from EE you can just upgrade to it.

Currently EE broadband customer FTTC mid-plan, but internet keeps dropping out/interference. BT Broadband checker shows WBC FTTP is available for my address, 1 stage install, and I can see the box on my nearest pole. Can I just ask EE to connect my house via fibre to the pole ?

Thanks for the response, I saw last year EE wasn't installing ONTs and only supplying properties that had that the fibre from the pole/ONT connection already installed by another ISP, but has that now changed? Thanks!

Yes, EE has removed that requirement late last year from its FTTP installs.

Thanks! You're welcome 🙂 ! Glad I could be of assistance
