Connecting OPPO phone to Galaxy watch 3

I keep getting the following error when I try to setup mobile plan on my Galaxy watch 3 connecting it to OPPO mobile - EE doesn't offer mobile plans for your watch.

@Allybally1963 While you might be able to get it to work Samsung have only ever said the watch is only compatible with a Samsung phone,

but just to check you are using the wear app on your phone ?

You would need one of the following Samsung phones on a pay monthly or SIM Only EE account to pair the watch:

Samsung Galaxy A Series 2017 and Newer
Samsung Galaxy J Series 2017 and Newer
Samsung Galaxy Note 8 and Newer
Samsung Galaxy S7 and Newer
Samsung Galaxy Xcover 4 and Newer
