Does anyone know if all laptops come with Microsoft packages?

If a laptop is not advertised as coming with Microsoft Word, or Microsoft Office, it is quite likely these will not be bundled. At best you may receive a short free trial.

Microsoft 365 is free used in a browser though but does not have complete or equivalent functionality. https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/microsoft-365/free-office-online-for-the-web

If your company uses Microsoft Office 365, it's likely your company sign-on will entitle you to a handful of full Microsoft Office installs. Your mileage may vary.

No, lappys come in various OS's, Windows, Chromebooks, iMac, ....

EE lappys are not advertised with coming with anything. It's not the place to buy lappys if you want more than the raw hardware.
