Alcatel 3080 4g

I have purchased an Alcatel 3080 4g while my phone is being repaired. The guide states it is able to access the internet through 4g and WiFi however there is no function for this on the phone. I have looked at the apps on th phone and there is no obvious function to support the internet. Help please!!

No internet browser or App Store.

On starting the mobile it shows the basic phone log, messaging centre, multimedia centre. No evidence of internet despite being advertised as having Facebook and WhatsApp pre-loaded.

Do you have data turned on in the phone settings?

If so and you have no apps showing or a way to connect to the internet, you can contact Alcatel for further support.

I've had the same problem with the Alcatel 3080 I bought on EE from Argos, there is no web browser or apps as advertised. Is this a mistake?

Welcome to the EE Community. 🙂

The Alcatel 3080 is a feature phone, rather than a smart phone and doesn't have the ability to download additional apps.

If you have been advised the phone has features that aren't available, please contact the retailer to request a refund.
