What notifications should I receive when I'm out without my phone.

Hi, just got my 4g Samsung galaxy3 watch and watch plan added yesterday but I'm not getting any notifications apart from phone calls when I am out and about without my phone, should I receive whatsapp, messengers SMS, emails. Thanks in advance

@Devine89 Provided you have set them up to receive them on the watch. Your phone needs to be on to send a text even if it’s not with you but you should be able to receive. Your phone needs to be on because the message centre number is on your phone not the watch.

Probably not other than calls & SMS.

@Devine89 You should receive all notifications if its setup correctly.

Here’s the information from Samsung own webpage

“The Samsung Galaxy Watch 4G allows users to use a 4G connection without needing a smartphone nearby. Users can leave their phone at home and still stream music, take calls or messages, or get notifications while out and about”.

have a look at THIS, while this is for what’s app all apps will have the same/similar setup to get notifications.
