Personal paired plan with Apple Watch not bought from EE

I contacted EE a couple of weeks ago asking about the cost for a paired plan, as I was planning to buy an Apple Watch 6. I also asked if I can buy it from Apple directly and then connect it with EE, as some versions are not available through EE, and I was told that of course it can be done. Of course, I was told that I will have unlimited data.

I finally got my Apple Watch from Apple, but the only option is for the 10GB data plan. I called EE and I was told that the unlimited option is only for purchases through EE. I was never made aware of that and definitely EE should be more clear on this...

10GB may be more than enough, but the lack of clarity is rather disappointing....

@kosutasu It’s only 10Gb when not from EE, I’ll be surprised if you use over 5Gb of data per month.
