I see posts about having a monthly sim plan for the watch, but do I need to have a plan to use the watch with phone?

Reason I ask is I always have my phone with me and use the watch to recieve information and to change a track on music. I dont really send messages or make phone calls with it. So do I need the monthly plan? and if do need a plan. What is the cheaoest plan can get for it as I have just looked and looks like its £28 a month. That can not be right??

I am with EE already just the watch is brought from samsung. Any help or advise would be great

@ColinMolloy you don’t have to have a plan if your phone is always with you your watch will work fine without one and it will just be like using a non-cellular watch. If you want a tariff for it it’ll be £7 per month on a 30 day rolling contract and you will get 10 gig of data that is solely for the watch. You set this up via the ware app.

you also need to be a contract customer to have a watch on a tariff.
