Galaxy Watch3 -why pay for plan?

I have a Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra with a SIM only plan from EE including 60gb of data. I have now brought a Galaxy Watch3 LTE directly from Samsung. I was led to believe my current SIM only plan with EE would be used on my watch. But when I try to connect it says I need a new add on contact, doesn't tell me how much extra I have to pay. 2 things... 1. Why should I have to pay anything? Surely it uses the data and minutes from my current EE plan? 2. How much extra are you wanting me to pay?

Hi @Kwillis2812

Your watch needs its own data plan if you are to use the cellular functionality. You cannot have both a watch and a phone on your same EE plan.

I believe the cost is £7 per month for a watch plan.
