I’ve spoken to a few EE advisers and I’m getting conflicting information, so hopefully I can find an answer in here!

I’m looking to get my partner an Apple Watch series 6 cellular, she already has an iPhone with EE on pay monthly.

I understand the watch is paired to the phone and EE charge £7 a month for the cellular service (not that I can find this on the EE website?) but my question is, does the watch use the same phone number? so if she leaves her phone at home, she can still be contacted on the same number via her watch.

Clearly I’m new to the Apple Watch world!!

thanks in advance!

Hi @Nathan-F

The watch will be given a separate number and plan, hence the monthly tariff.

Once set up and synced on the account it can be used away from the phone

Thanks

@Northerner Thanks for this. So with the watch having a separate number, would it still receive calls and texts that go to the original phone number?
