Several times i have tried to send a text but it dosent go ,i check the ee text number but its not there then a day afterwards it reappears Any suggestions

For sending texts, check your phone's Messaging app has the Message Centre no. setting for EE as +447958879879.

Are you saying that you're entering the SMSC number that @XRaySpeX has advised, but it's disappearing?

That would either suggest that it's being removed by human action or through a phone fault.

thanks but it says no number available then next day that number appears and i can send texts

Can you try entering the message centre number manually and see if this gets removed?

If so, are you able to try your SIM card in another phone to see if the same happens?

I cant enter in manually it wont let me ,then next day i click on it and it shows the number and i can send texts ?

Where did you purchase the phone?

Ev er since i bought the phone from ee in tamworth its just annoying when you send a text and it bounces back saying not sent

Seriously thinking off leaving EE once my credit is used up Tried making a call and a text phone wouldn't let me to either my wife has a very cheap mobile on Vodafone and has no problems using hers

What happens when you try and make a call?

Can you try texting BALANCE to 150 and let me know the reply, if this sends for you?

sometimes ot wont let me make a call balance worked ok today but tomorrow maybe not

its the worse mobile i have owned or ee is just bad don't know which but being a 70 year old i need something that works especially if i am out in my car and it brakes down

I would suggest getting in touch with our Pay as you go Tech team, they can run through some trouble shooting and help you further with your texts and calls.

25 pence a minute my credit would be soon gone ,reckon i was sold a faulty mobile from the start don't you? if possible i would spend the extra for a reliable mobile instead of one i can't trust
