I have a Google Pixel 3A and am looking at the Samsung Galaxy Active 2 watch - are they compatible?

Are you looking at the 4G or Bluetooth watch?

The 4G version is only compatible with selected Samsung phones.

Thank you, finding it a bit confusing! I just spoke to my friend who has a 4g watch and is hoping to change her phone to a pixel and she's just rung EE to ask about compatibility and been told her watch will work with any pixel and that it'll work with any android phone. So really confused now!
