If you get the watch elsewhere it’ll cost you £7 per month on a rolling 30 day tariff. Your calls and texts on the watch come from your phone contact but the data doesn’t.

I am looking to buy a Samsung watch 4g and was wondering about linking it to my contract. I am very confused, as I am reading a lot saying all I need is a virtual sim that will link it to my current contract, and simply be an extension if it, but reading the forums, it seems that I need to pay for a separate contract?!? Which is it?

I am not planning to buy the watch through EE, as it is cheaper elsewhere, I just want to connect it.

Thanks for that. The whole thing sounds like a rip off to me. Why can calls & data come from my current contract, but not data?

Anyway, Bluetooth only watch it is, then.
