Friends and Family discount for watch data

I’m thinking about adding the data plan to my contract for my cellular apple watch that I bought off ebay

I know the F&F isn’t applicable to watch contracts that includes the watch

what if it’s just a data add on to my existing account that has f&f applied

@JamesN3 You can not get a F&F discount on the watch. You have to have a cellular plan for the watch and you can not just a data add -on

my question is, if I add a cellular plan to

my account, which is £7 I believe, will the f and f discount apply?

@JamesN3 no, you can not have a F&F discount on any watch tariff even if you get the watch yourself from elsewhere. It’s still a watch tariff but because your supply in the watch yourself so it’s a cheaper tariff.
