Hello.

I've wiped & restored an old iPad which I want to give to my mother and although the PAYG SIM I bought from 1p Mobile actually sits on the back of EE, I cannot get the iPad to recognise it even though, with the SIM removed, the iPad shows the carrier as "EE 36".

The EE unlocking page returns the yellow triangle exclamation mark and no image and the Helpine says to use the unlocking page and, "thankyouforcallinggoodbye".

Any assistance would be gratefully received. Mum's in her 70s and not a heavy user hence the PAYG SIM I've bought which really seems to be the best option for her. But its of no use if I can't get the thing unlocked from EE's own-branded SIM settings.

Could you try using the unlocking form on a different device or browser please?

If it still doesn't work, could you upload an image of the error message (obscuring any IMEI /mobile numbers)?
