If I buy a new sim free, unlocked mobile from, say Amazon….and I want to retain my number, and payg arrangement (literally pay as you go…I only use for texts/calls…and top up at my convenience),how do I get a new sim and get organised to change new phone to existing number and payg arrangement?.Would it need me to visit an EE shop with my new phone and request them to fit sim etc and organise changeover?

thank you

Hi @jfostern

It's the SIM which provides access to your account & number.

If your chosen new phone has the same size SIM as your current phone, then simply put your existing SIM in your new phone and continue as you are.

If your new phone has a different size SIM to your current phone, you can order a replacement SIM here
