UNLOCK HELP PLEASE

Morning everyone, Could someone please help with my unlock. I recently upgraded to an i phone 13 and really pleased with the phone. So i have an I Phone XR which as its Christmas nearly i would like to sell and make a few ££s. ive read that the i phones unlock themselves after 18 months but not too sure if thats true, so as i want to sell the phone as unlocked i need some advise please. I cant text 150 as my sim is in my new phone so any advise would be most welcome as i dont want to sell the phone as unlocked if it isnt. Thanks in advance for any help.

Where did you originally purchase the iPhone?

You can check the lock status of your EE Apple device via the online unlock request form.
