S21+ 5G - Trade in for the Z Fold 3

Is it worth trading in my s21+5G for the Z Fold 3 ?

Everything is perfect with my S21+ and i can trade in anytime for £100.

I can get a free trade in on the 28/01/2022, but wanting to see what is best ?

Any help is much appreciated 🙂

My personal choice would be stick with S21+, for me the only thing missing on Them is the lack of SD Memory Card support apart from that it's a really good phone.

My honest belief about folding Screens is it's just not perfected yet, and you will probably have screen issues with the Fold after your warranty is up.

@EssexBoyEE you can have issues with any phone after the warranty is up. The fold is no different.

I have the Fold 2 and absolutely love it. Would I trade up if I have to spend money to upgrade no. But that's the same with any phone.

If you are in your upgrade period and you can afford the increase monthly payments then yes I would go ahead. But this is the OPs choice. They need to go into a store and have a play with the Fold 3 before deciding on it.

@BrendonH yea fair do's, everyone has there personal choice, it's just I know a few peeps that have had foldables, not just Samsung and there all ended up with screen or hinged issues, one guy told me really nice phone but in the back of your mind you know the Screen is a Train Crash waiting to happen.

The other thing for me is the price of these things compared to a good Flagship non foldable screen and value for money and all that.

I reckon give it a couple of years and they would have sussed the foldable screen or on the other hand it was just a phase of the times and they don't make them anymore.

There’s a reason why Apple have done one yet. They might not be the first to create something but they do do it right when they launch something. These foldable devices came about because of the rumours that apple was creating such a device, hate to say it but the technology isn’t quite there yet for these.
