There seems to be some mixed messages as to what is possible with regard to photo ID required for receiving a delivery:
My partner, who does not share the same surname as me, has a repair collection/new phone drop off due from DPD, but will be at work.
Can I sign for it on her behalf using my own photo ID/her passport; some forum responses are saying it's fine as long as someone present has photo ID, others are saying that it has be photo ID and the same surname?
The DPD link does not give any other options save altering the day of delivery.

@Thomas_89 you can use your photo ID with a different surname that is not a problem it was once it had to have the same surname but that no longer applies though.
