    <description>&lt;P&gt;Where did you &lt;STRONG&gt;yourself&lt;/STRONG&gt; get this device itself &lt;STRONG&gt;originally&lt;/STRONG&gt;? &lt;STRONG&gt;Did you buy it yourself new &lt;U&gt;direct from EE&lt;/U&gt;&lt;/STRONG&gt; or from a 3rd-party reseller or is it 2nd-hand? The unlocking process &amp;amp; costs are different. Was it originally on contract or PAYG? How old is it? EE won't unlock contract devices less than 6 months old.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>International SIM in EE phone</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I'm working abroad for a couple of months so I've perchased a local sim card, however despite it identifying the sim, the network state is disconnected and I'm unable to use it.&amp;nbsp; I was told before I left that the phone had been unlocked, any idea what the issue could be?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;Does the SIM work in another phone as it soundlike it is dead.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;What device do you have? If an iPhone did you reset network settings?&lt;/P&gt;
