Xiaomi Note 8 pro not compatible with MyEE

Hi all. Since the most recent MyEE update I cannot use it with my Redmi Note 8 Pro. The Play store says my phone is not compatible with this version. I haven't had a problem using the app before apart from its a bit buggy here and there.

Anyone else having this problem?

Phone is up to date and hasn't been rooted.

Could really do with it working as like to keep an eye on my kids usage and it easy to move data between them.

Hi there - I use the same handset as you and I have the same problem. I made the mistake of uninstalling it and trying to download the latest version but now can't download the app either.

Just found this and installed the suggested version in the thread and confirm I'm now back up and running👍

Well that didn't last long. Won't let me use it without updating again😡🤬

Can't be bothered with reinstalling it every time I want to use it. Looks like it's web browser for me until EE can be bothered to sort this and recognise Xiaomi as a serious brand

I'm having the same problem on my Redmi 4 which I have had for nearly 4 years and had no problems before about updating or downloading the ee app. Now all of a sudden it's not compatible with my device

Same as you. Redmi Note 8 Pro. On Android 10, before app update, My EE works fine. When update showed up, couldn't use the app. I found info, that the best OS for app is Android 11, but no info that it won't work on Android 10. I think, they just don't care about Redmi users. I had a hope that getting Android 11 will help, but no. Thanks EE. They even delete my comment from google play.
