Is this a Samsung thing or an EE Idea, to swipe the answer Icon seems counter intuitive to me, there should be a choice of answer protocols in the settings, at least then people know what to do with their phones

Hello @PJ60

The software on devices, and the methods of operation, are chosen primarily by the manufacturer although the operating system dictates much of it.

EE is a network operator, Samsung is the device manufacturer although Android is the operating system.
