      <title>Samsung S20 Charging takes up to 32hours</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;My phone has started to take anything up to 32 hours to charge. Its plugged in to the same socket with the same cable since the day I got it.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have done a hard reset a few times but it makes no difference. If I charge my phone overnight by the time its morning I will have between 60 &amp;amp; 65%. If I leave it charged all night and all day it gets to 85%&amp;nbsp; I rarely get a charge to 100%.&amp;nbsp; Even if I do the battery doesn't last long at all I may get 4 to 5 hours from it if I'm lucky. What should I do as I have tried everything suggested by Samsung for this problem. I have another 16 months on the contract and can't go on like this it isn't fair as I pay for a phone that works to full capacity.       <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi &lt;a href="https://community.ee.co.uk/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/1916140"&gt;@Dawn47&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I would recommend to download the Ampere app to monitor the rate of charging and battery health as you take the above advice to try other cables and chargers. (Sometimes unplugging and reattaching the cable can cause a higher charging rate to be seen.)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;By these tests you should be able to determine whether there is a fault either within the warranty period, or whether out of the warranty period but falls into the requirement that goods must be fit for purpose. Good luck! &lt;span class="lia-unicode-emoji" title=":nerd_face:"&gt;🤓&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;In my personal opinion, consumers should approach the retailer in the first instance to resolve faults on the consumer's behalf and to make returns to the manufacturer if necessary. I believe direct contact with the manufacturer should be a last resort.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
