P30 asking for password after restart

Anyone else any issues with P30, keeps asking for password after restart, but to my knowledge hasn't been restarted, unless its doing it in my pocket and i dont know. It can happen numerous times a day.

Without typing in the password i dont get messages or whats app, calls are coming through but with no called ID/name just the phone no.

Anyone any ideas???

Have you tried backing up your data and completing a factory reset on your phone?

No i haven't actually, just turned everything i could find off and on again lol

I will try that tonight. Fingers crossed as its a total nuisance.

Please back everything up before doing the reset, this will delete everything from your phone.

You might be able to see the uptime / running time under settings / about phone / status, and see if it is indeed rebooting all the time.

Checked that last nite and it looked like it had actually rebooted as running time was only 12 hrs odd! have now wiped and restored so fingers crossed today its worked!
