Where did you yourself get this device itself originally? Did you buy it yourself new direct from EE or from a 3rd-party reseller or is it 2nd-hand? The unlocking process & costs are different. Was it originally on contract or PAYG? How old is it? EE won't unlock contract devices less than 6 months old.

I purchased it from EE and it is over 6 months old I have recieved a
unlocking code but when I try to log onto hppt//.192.169.1.1 we says it
will take you to a unlocking box where you enter the code but takes you
back to the we web pg .this is where I am stuck . And do I go onto another
wifi devise to log into the hppt web page ?

What is this "we web pg" it takes you to? Post an image of it.

Have you inserted another network's SIM? Which 1?
