Unlock old phone

i have an old Samsung, no idea which model. I dropped my current phone in water and need to use but is locked to EE. It isn’t networked so not really sure what to do (tried text number to 150) Any help greatly appreciated.

Where did you yourself get this device itself originally? Did you buy it yourself new direct from EE or from a 3rd-party reseller or is it 2nd-hand? The unlocking process & costs are different. Was it originally on contract or PAYG?
