Cancelling debit card as no longer in use and unlocking phone please

Hi i would like to cancel my debit card please as no funds in account and closing it down , also i would like to unlock phone please i understand there is a fee of £8.99 i can ring to pay that on the phone havent got the pac code .

Are you using a pay as you go or pay monthly plan?

Are you transferring your number to another network?

Where did you yourself get this device itself originally? Did you buy it yourself new direct from EE or from a 3rd-party reseller or is it 2nd-hand? The unlocking process & costs are different. Was it originally on contract or PAYG? How old is it? EE won't unlock contract devices less than 6 months old.
