possible repair

Hi my google pixel 3a is going in for repair tomorrow and i was told this phone has been decommissioned and EE have only a few parts still available.If it is not possible to fix would would be the likely outcome?

it’s not for public forum to say what might happen or be offered if parts are not available. But seeing as the device isn’t over 2 years old yet from release date I find it really poor if parts are not available.
