Unlock Phone in France

Hi,

I bought my Huawei P Smart in Enland (EE shop) but I am now back in France so I need to use it here.

I have tried to unlock it via the websit but I get the error message which says that the phone is not locked with Orange, T mobile etc... It does recognize the IMEI at the beginning but doesn't at the end.

I need to add that my phone was replaced in 2020 through my insurrance claim and I have also terminated the contract on the 16/03 as I will now use a French one so it might be why it doesn't work on the website?

Is there anyway I can get some help from EE to unlock it please?

Welcome to the community:)

If you get in touch with our customer care team, they will be able to process this request for you. Because the device was replaced, the IMEI number will not be recognised against your account.

You can call us on 07953966250 if you EE account is no longer active.
