&lt;LI&gt;It makes no diff putting any EE SIM in a 2nd hand phone. You can get a 2nd-hand phone unlocked (as per the Solution of that other thread) after it itself is 6 months old from original purchase if it were on contract or immediately if it were on PAYG, providing it is "clean".&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;The mobile no. is irrelevant for 2nd-hand unlocks. It's the IMEI that counts.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/LI&gt;
