Google Pixel 3a messaging ID?

Hello, I was just wondering: I called a company I had never called before, and they returned the call and used my christian name as salutation. I found this really weird: is there a setting that means that my details come up on their screen? I've looked and can't see.

I don't believe there is a setting on your device that would provide these details.

When you made the call did you leave a message for the company to call you back?

no: this is what worried me. I had simply called the number, left no message.

I had not called them before. I received a voicemail mentioning me by name. I wonder if they have somehow picked up something in my settings.

Thanks again: good point. I don't think so; I think I had the standard non-personalised one.

If you call your voicemail and select option 2, do you have a personalised voicemail set up?
