Samsung A217 has died. Fully charged battery.

My samsung A217 died last night. There's a dull light when on/off button is depressed but nothing else. Can't get a call back from EE until next week. Any suggestions?

If you charge the phone, do you have any lights showing?

Was the phone fully charged when this happened?

Thanks Leanne. It was fully charged. Rang Samsung and they advised holding on/off button and down sound together for 10 seconds. Had to do it twice but it worked. I will still discuss with EE when they phone me as this is new phone.
