I fear my mobile number been spoofed

I fear my mobile number been spoofed, for I getting calleds from people who say that I tried to call them, when I have not, this is even international calls. What can I do to stop this happening? I am not answering calls from numbers that I do not recognise.

You will need to speak to EE CS on 150 and ask for a new number if this is becoming an issue.

Thank you for the quick reply, hopefully this stops after a few days, if not a week, I have turned on block all unknown/private numbers opition on my phone, but rather not keep it on long term.

but yes if it not sorted in a couple of weeks, I will speak to CS about it.

Does this problem occur mostly when you are connected to WiFi calling, or EE 4/5G network?

Or doesn't this matter?

Hmm I do not use mobile calling, and yes I am connected on 4/5G ee
network. It started 4 days ago.
