Calender didn't transfer

Hi guys,

I've just got a new phone (upgrade) and have done a smart switch but my calendar and everything on it has not transferred, please help, my life is in that calendar and I haven't got it!! How do I get all my appointments etc back??

@Streaky144 Are you backing up your calendar via google? Is that option enabled roaming n your old device? Have you enabled it on your new device?

I have done a smart switch from my old Note 8 to my new S20 FE and my calendar has not transferred. I did a smart switch from my husbands J4+ to my old Note 8 and his calendar transferred and I did exactly the same.

I desperately need my calendar it has my life on it for hospital appoints etc. for my hubby as he is disabled.

Hi @Streaky144,

Do you still have your old phone?

If you do, can you go to Settings > Accounts and backup and make sure your calendar is set to back up to your Google account.

Yes I do still have my old phone but unfortunately I have already smart switched it with my husbands old one, so it now has all his stuff on it.

Is there any hope of getting my calendar back at all??

Hi @Streaky144,

If it wasn't backed up, I'm afraid you won't be able to retrieve your lost data.

Can you view your calendar at calendar.google.com/calendar?

I have just clicked on that link and I have got everything up to September but after that there is nothing and I know I had appointments in the new year on it.

It looks like the last successful backup was in September.

I'm sorry I couldn't help you get all of your appointments back.
