Software update for Samsung tab s5e

I had the usual notification to do the latest Software update on Samsung s5e tablet and it has been running for a few hours now it just keeps restarting over and over it vibrates like it normally does when it is about to start up but all that happens is the android bot comes up with the status % running.

Can anyone help me please? It would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the community.

Could you try soft resetting the tablet and trying again?

Hold the power key and the volume down key at the same time for around 7 seconds.

It should power off and power back on itself.
