When did you get your phone? there is a chance you could be covered under warranty if your device has not been physically damaged or exposed to water.

My Samsung A40 has suddenly stopped working. Zero problems until about 10mins ago, the screen froze, went black with just 3 icons at the bottom and now won't do anything except it keeps coming up with Samsung then going black again.

I'm currently using my son's phone to type this!

Any ideas what on earth i can do?! It's on contract but no insurance- not been damaged or dropped etc...

Someone please help me!

Took the contract out August 2019. Phone hadn't been damaged in any way. (I'm sadly a bit precious about it!)

Husband held the volume and power buttons on the side down this morning and it turned itself back on. Phew! Have now frantically backed up photos and contacts in case it happens again!

Not due to upgrade until August next year...
