mine was £100 and yes

I've seen others have aswell. call them as when I looked on the app it was showing I had to pay still

Mine was £100 and yes it was waived.

I brought it up by saying I understood that due to timing (not quite being a year) a fee was applicable and was ok with that and they waived it anyway. 👍🏻

I called up as I had a month to go before my upgrade anytime was free (due to iPhone 12 delayed release) and wanted to know if I had any options. As with others my fee was waved.
