EE upgrade

Currently I am on a family plan almost a year into which I am looking to upgrade.

I have a fee to pay of course to upgrade but I was wondering if I could trade in my current phone iPhone 11 to help pay off the fee and upgrade to a iPhone 12.

Also will it effect the family plan because currently I get 100gb data which I share with my partner who doesn’t want to upgrade yet.

@_bitter90s_ You mean you have a tariff that you gift data from. Yes it will effect it as it’ll be a new tariff and it might have a different tariff allowance. Yes you can trade in.

Thank you for clarifying my question can I also ask how do I trade it in to upgrade can I do it one go or do I have to trade in first then upgrade?

This page will let you know how to get a valuation on your current phone and also how to complete a trade in.
