BT Ultimate ATV4K

Hey guys.

I have BT Sport/Ultimate as part of my mobile phone package, I also pay extra for large screen casting which I can send to my ATV 4K box.

When watching BT Sport via the ATV app I do not get HDR?

I swear I used to be able to get HDR via the app on ATV but this seems to no longer be the case, I get 4K and Dolby Atmos but not HDR.

when watching BTSport on the App on my Sony A90J I can get 4K/HDR but not Dolby Atmos,

for info the ATV was also part of my EE package.

Should/Can I get HDR via ATV using my EE details?

@priesty23 Just to check you have EE broadband and you got an Apple TV with that package. If you have why are you paying to cast as you have BT sport as part of that package.

@Chris_B Hi, no my Broadband is via Sky.

Never had EE BB, might have got the ATV as a add on to my mobile but can remember tbh.

I've found this BT Sport help page that explains what devices you can get 4K HDR on.

That helps a lot, seems I never had HDR in the past, convinced I had but seems ATV can’t support that for the BT App.

will continue to watch via my TV then I guess as at least that as 4K HDR.
