Low volume on calls iPhone 11

Since doing the latest upgrade with apple, I am experiencing low volume on incoming calls. To the point you can not hear the person on the other end.

ive tried cleaning all the speakers but no difference.
volume is all turned up to full and works perfectly on speaker

any suggestions pls

I hope you're well and having a nice weekend, other than this issue of course.

If you pop into settings on your phone, select sound & haptics and ensure the sound is turned up and able to be controlled by the volume buttons.

thank you for your response, the sound and haps is on full.

I’ve tried turning off Bluetooth and WiFi and turning back on again.

still nothing

@Kas66 Is your device in a case ? If it take it out and test it.

It makes no difference to the volume, when its out of a case

@Kas66 Do you have a glass screen protector on it ? If you do is it fitted around the ear speaker at the top of the device?

There are also small holes on the device you need to make sure no fluff has got in to them.

there is no screen protector on the iPhone.

can you clean the speakers with air duster ?

Hi @Kas66

I've done a little research into this and it isn't a common or known issue, We would always recommend taking the phone to Apple for any kind of maintenance work on the phone.

How long have you had the phone?
