Can I upgrade my phone to apple watch?

Hi, my monthly deal finished 2 years ago and I didn't upgrade my phone until now and currently I am paying nearly 20 pounds per month for my sim only deal which give me only 4GB data and unlimited text and calls. Now I saw that I can get Apple watch for 22 Pounds per month and it also gives unlimited data can I upgrade my deal and pay 22 pounds per month and get apple watch and also unlimited data?

The reason why I am asking this is my friend pays 20 pounds per month for sim only deal and he gets 50GB of data per month also unlimited text and calls.

Welcome to the community.

Yes, you can upgrade your mobile plan to a new SIM only plan if you want to and providing you're eligible to, you can add an Apple Watch to your account too.

Acutally my question was I saw on the EE website when I get the Apple watch and pay it monthly it says that it gives unlimited data which I don't need to pay extra for SIM only plan. It says that £28 per month and unlimited data which I don't need to pay extra for SIM only plan am I right?

@Polarityside the price of £22 a month for the Apple watch is for the watch you still need to pay the sim only contract for it to be able to link to your phone. You can't have a watch plan on a phone and also use that on the watch as well.

@BrendonH here is the link of the watch that I want to get LINK It says that it also gives unlimited data, minutes and texts. Why would I pay for SIM for no reason if the watch deals gives me and unlimited text, calls and data or I got the information wrong?

Because a watch needs to link to your original plan.

On this very link it also states this.....

Don't forget!
You'll need iPhone SE, iPhone 6s or above on our EE network with either a SIM only or a pay monthly plan to connect your watch

The £22 is to pay for the watch around £7 of that is for the watch plan as if you were to acquire a watch from another source and ant to link it to your phone you need to pay a £7 monthly fee.
