Iphone 12 pro max stock issue

I was told that I would be able to have a iPhone 12 pro max within 3 days and thst the grapthie model was on stock, then chased up later to find out they have no stock available. Is there an actual date on when the iPhone stocks back?

@Aiden11 I ordered my pro max on 15th December and was told 28 day wait. Most people are still waiting from November, they're being delivered on first come firsr serve basis.

Ah okay, cheers. So must waiting around for a month on delays then get it, some service ee.

I am in the same boat...phone ordered on November 24th and no sign of delivery...I did phone EE in early December and spent over 50 minutes on the phone only to find out that they could not tell me anything...

One thing this year has taught me though is to be patient...it will come in the end...

If it’s any help to yourself, mine is arriving tomorrow, I ordered on the 17th November. So you’re looking at around 5 weeks. I still think it’s extremely irresponsible of ee to continue advertising 28 days dispatch when people who are currently in the back log are already waiting longer than that.

I think they have been awful ! I ordered mine was told to expect a delivery the next day ... never came (obviously) and rang up to be spoken to very rudely By a woman who told me that they don’t know when they will be back in stock and how didn’t I know that ?! 🤦🏻‍♀️

I ordered the iPhone 12 pro max in blue 128gb to begin with as that was the only colour showing in stock ! then when it never showed up the next day I rang up and changed it to silver as that was my preferred option . I ordered on the 29th of December

Thanks for the generic reply I gathered that info already ! Ee shouldn’t be taking orders and telling people they will be delivered next day ! People don’t mind waiting if they are told from the get go 🤦🏻‍♀️

I ordered my iphone 12 pro max on the 24th nov too and still don’t even have an estimated delivery date! Did you get yours since your post? Today marks 6 weeks wait, when I ordered online was showing 14 days but the operator told me more like 28 days which I accepted. Didn’t think I would still be waiting though!

@AJ2013 Hello - I went through the pain yesterday of cancelling my order with EE and buying directly from Apple. They have the make and model I want in stock and I will have my phone on Friday. Have moved to a SIM only contract with EE as a result. Took two hours to get sorted mind you. They even had the temerity of trying to charge me £85 as an early cancellation fee, despite the whole debacle being EE's fault. Got there in the end though. It is little wonder telco companies have massive client churn as they do treat people like dirt and they seem to think people are dumb. One of the people yesterday was insistent that it was COVID causing the stocking issues, when a simple search will tell you that Apple has been having stock problems due to higher demand than expected for the 12 Pro Max and the chip foundries are at capacity making the parts for the phones - it is nothing to do with COVID, but it makes for a convenient excuse.

Hi @nmhendry Thanks for the information, glad you will be receiving your iphone this week, albeit the hard way. Probably better in the long run though. Yes, I too have had operators blame covid for the logistic issue of not having the stock but one of them did tell me that Apple didn’t expect such high demand. I’m on a annual upgrade contract but officially still have another 12 month’s minimum so I will just have to wait.
