I have a new iPhone XR and I am trying to activate my new SIM card. I have requested the pin to be sent to my old phone twice now and it is not being sent. What do I do next? My other issue is that I am currently experiencing coverage issues in my area so cannot ring ee to solve this. Help!

Morning @Amyvv

Thanks for coming to the community.

Does your old SIM card fit in your new iPhone XR?

If this is the same size, you can use the old SIM.

Leanne 🙂

For future reference, EE's get in touch page includes numbers you can call EE on, from any working phone. 0800 0798586 is a free call from any UK phone.

Although as has already been suggested - EE often supply replacement SIMs with upgrade phones incase, for whatever reason, your existing SIM isn't suitable or isn't working.

If your existing SIM fits & works in your new phone, then use it - there's no other reason to swap SIMs.
